Set authentication controls
- Force authenticator-app MFA for workspace access where required.
- Use email or phone verification in public and sensitive signing flows.
- Require download authentication for completed documents.
- Expire download links instead of publishing permanent file URLs.
Record signer intent
- Require a signing reason for regulated workflows.
- Add a visible signer ID where policy requires it.
- Decide whether typed signatures and saved-signature reuse are acceptable.
- Allow decline, delegation, or resubmission only when the business process supports them.
Retain complete evidence
Enable combined completed documents and audit log when a single evidence file simplifies retention. Run a full test after policy changes because stricter controls alter both sender and signer workflows.
